Removed and replaced spark plugs. Also replaced cylinder # 3 ignition coil. Test drove vehicle. No problems found
Technician removed and inspected cylinder 3 spark plug and found Gap to be roughly 059. Spark plug gap specifications for these vehicles are 051 meaning that this plug is worn and the Gap is opened. Cylinder one plug was also removed for comparison and found at 060. Spark plugs are swapped between cylinders one and three to see if misfire moved with spark plug. Technician watching live misfires after swapping spark plugs around between cylinder 1 and cylinder 3. Cylinder 3 still shows an occasional misfire.
